Made for Ludum Dare 48, first playable version made in 3 days

Control the roots of a tree that need ores to survive, go to the deepest point to get better ores and survive for the most time


How to play

Each resource has a different rarity in each of the main layers of the world, and adds a different amount of lifetime for your tree.

To control your tree, hold ARROWS or WASD, it will take a different time for your root to break depending on the material.

If the sound is too loud, use M/N to mute/unmute

Install instructions

On Windows

  • download the zip
  • unzip it
  • 2 clicks and run the game (no need to install)

On Linux 

  • download the zip
  • unzip it
  • before running it, make sure you have installed: SDL2, SDL_image and SDL_mixer, if not, install them with your package manager
  • run it with ./game.program on your terminal
